Helloooooooo It’s Meeeeeeee 💋❤️
Thank you so much for being here and for subscribing to my website. Truly, it means more to me than you probably realize. I promised myself I was going to start using my website more, building community, growing my mailing list, and connecting with readers beyond social media, and this is me keeping that promise. With that said, it is time to officially introduce you to my e-book store.
I have been publishing on Kindle Unlimited for a veryyyyyyy long time. Twelve years, to be exact. KU has been a huge part of my writing journey, and it is not going anywhere. Most of my readers still use KU, so I will continue to publish there. However, the book industry has changed a lot. No blame, no tea no shade, just facts.
Here is a quick breakdown. With KU, authors are paid by pages read. When books sit on TBR lists for weeks or even months, those pages are not being read, which means authors are gaining a little to none traction and exposure. That can be stressful, especially for full-time writers who are creating nonstop while trying to stay visible and relevant.
So I decided to try something new.
I created my own e-book store to give myself freedom. Creative freedom, mental freedom, and business freedom. It allows me to keep most of my books on Kindle Unlimited while also releasing certain titles directly through my own store. I will still offer paperbacks for readers who love physical books, but this shift removes the constant pressure of chasing rankings, page reads, and mass-producing stories just to keep up.
To make things clear and simple, my e-book store titles will have a signature logo on the cover that says “Natavia Writes.” If a cover does not include that logo, it means the book is coming to Kindle Unlimited. That way, you will always know where to find each release at a glance.
This change lets me write because I genuinely love it again, not because I am racing an algorithm.
Let me be very clear. This is not me saying I am done with KU. This is me saying I have been writing for a long time, and I no longer want to limit myself to just one lane. My e-books will still be priced similarly to Amazon, so nothing changes there. What does change is how much more room I have to express myself creatively.
My next release drops on February 3rd in my e-book store and it is a dark urban paranormal romance of Jinx and Grim from Eboenia. It is raunchy and includes explicit visuals. Since I am no longer restricted by Amazon’s content guidelines, I am able to deliver the story exactly how I envisioned it while still giving you my signature plot twists, drama, and bold storytelling.
This e-book store represents growth for me. It represents honoring how long I have been writing while still showing up for the readers who have supported me for years. It is about trying new things without abandoning what already works.
I hope this helps you understand what my e-book store truly means to me. It is not a goodbye to Kindle Unlimited. It is simply me giving myself permission to expand.
Stay tuned. I plan to write more blog posts because I genuinely enjoyed writing this. ❤️💋
Thank you for continuing to grow with me, support me, and read my stories, no matter where you find them.
